Before You Ride

Tulum Cycling Tips

Ride Early
7am–11am is the golden window. Cooler, quieter, and the beach road light is incredible for photos.
💧
Stay Hydrated
Tulum is hot. Bring 1.5L minimum. Coconut water stalls appear along most routes — hydrate often.
🔒
Use Your Lock
Always lock your bike when stopping — even for 5 minutes. We include a quality lock with every rental.
🛣️
Respect Traffic
Hwy 307 is busy — use Avenida Tulum for north/south travel instead. The beach road is far calmer.
